What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5 years’ experience in a complex manufacturing environment
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field, Two years of supervisory experience, Experience with six sigma methodologies
What You'll Do.
Achieve departmental production requirements
Provide staff training
guidance and motivation
Ensure work instructions are maintained and followed
Instill a culture of teamwork
Ensure adequate staffing and training
Ensure safe work practices
Monitor work areas for adherence to safety procedures
Provide staff training for effective performance
Address issues with staff with supportive documentation
Adhere to Company policies
Conduct timely employee performance reviews
Communicate goals and expectations to team
Ensure expected output of quality products is achieved
Investigate and evaluate quality defects
Assist with investigation of Corrective Action
Recommend and implement solutions to improve quality
Identify and recommend procedures for scrap reduction
Promote the use of 6S
Lean / Sigma Manufacturing concepts
Monitor and adjust production requirements and resources
Implement and monitor continuous quality improvement activities
Provide daily work direction to team members
Act as first point of contact for shift issues

Team & Collaboration
Works closely with human resources and Process Supervisors; Communicate effectively with other supervisors, engineers and management; Ability to work with a diverse team
