Position impacts company profitability through maximizing productivity, efficiencies, and quality through the distribution center operations. Position is responsible for making work flow decisions in the absence of a manager. **Job Duties and Responsibilities:** * Forecasting & responding to production volume and manpower needs in order to maximize productivity and ensure quality. * Training, developing & supervising non-exempt associates. * Promoting and maintaining high associate morale & safety. * Coaching and counseling associate performance and attendance issues. * Maintain established through-put standards. * Meet budget goals and productivity standards. * Developing and implementing methods and procedures to improve efficiency and safety of operations. * Maintaining the security of all merchandise and capital equipment in assigned departments. * Assignment of special projects that relate to the business and/or operations in order to expand knowledge of facility or company. **QUALIFICATIONS:** * Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent experience * 3-5 years experience in Distribution Center management * Distribution systems preferred * Retail Experience preferred **VIRTUAL REQUIREMENTS:** At DICK’S, we thrive on innovation and authenticity.
