What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School Diploma or equivalent required, Five or more years relevant experience (e.g., planning, analysis or design of electric distribution systems, vegetation management, electric construction/maintenance) required, minimum of three years in a supervisor role required
Nice to Have
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred, supervisory or team leadership experience preferred, five or more years relevant experience in a heavy industrial or military environment required, Proficiency with general computer skills preferred, Basic knowledge of OAS, Maximo, ARCOS, and TRIS systems preferred, The ability to obtain and retain a CDL License is preferred
What You'll Do.
Provide leadership and direct daily operations
Drive for results with respect to oversight of safety programs
Ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements
Manage electric operating budget responsibilities
Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives
Direct and lead strategic efforts
Foster a culture of safety
Apply and enforce Ameren Safety Manual programs
and direct field co-worker activities
develop and evaluate co-workers
Provide on-going feedback and coaching
Ensure Ameren Construction Standards are followed
Effectively use and review data
Support storm restoration efforts
Plan future work by visiting job sites
Monitor upcoming scheduled work
Manage pre-requisite completion
Obtain equipment / materials for upcoming work
Review and triage new work
