Temporary contract for 8 months, Base: Lima, Regime: 5x2

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Professional of Environmental Engineering, Law, Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields, Intermediate English level, Minimum of 5 years in similar positions in Mining and/or Energy companies, and/or consulting firms, Experience in negotiations and processing of licenses and permits for mining projects and operations, Experience in handling permit regulations for mining operations in Peru, Required experience in permit management for operation (sectoral permits), Track record of interacting with influence of colleagues at all levels and coordinating disciplines related to permits

Nice to Have

Desirable experience in development or implementation of EIA in Peru

What You'll Do.

Manage the organization

and resources necessary to obtain permits for mine operation in a timely manner

Integrate requirements from technical

Maintain the validity of granted permits

Collaborate in the development of the permit strategy

Develop and update the permit acquisition plan

Track permits in process with authorities

Participate in meetings

Distribute results of permit processing/acquisition

Ensure the IT tool and permit matrix are kept up-to-date

Maintain the permit management plan updated

and renewal of granted permits and associated agreements

Communicate proactively with project control and Permit Compliance Supervisor regarding activities

and permit conditions

Keep the Superintendent of Permits and Compliance informed of permit management progress

Attend requests from reviewers and auditors

Prepare reports for the business unit and the corporation

Supervise the work of permit specialists

Effective resource allocation according to operational priorities

Keep Quellaveco's Permit Procedures updated

Review Anglo American's permit standard when required

Efficiently administer the assigned permit budget

Comply with legal requirements and other commitments

Ensure implementation of control measures for identified SHE hazards and risks

Report acts and conditions as well as Incidents

Ensure continuous improvement in Safety

and Environment Management
