JOB SUMMARY Supervises a team responsible for the reliable and efficient operation of the ERCOT Day-Ahead Market (DAM) in accordance with ERCOT Protocols, Operating Guides, and market procedures. Oversees daily market execution activities, market validation, operational readiness, issue resolution, stakeholder communications, and implementation of market enhancements affecting DAM processes. Coordinates with internal departments, Market Participants, vendors, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure accurate market operations and timely communication of market outcomes. Provides leadership and technical expertise regarding DAM operations, market systems, protocol interpretation, and market design initiatives. Supports strategic improvements to DAM processes and systems while ensuring compliance with ERCOT market rules and stakeholder expectations. Provides leadership during emergency operations and supports the implementation of protocol and market rule changes impacting the Day-Ahead Market.
