What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5-7 years of accounting, accounts payable, and/or bookkeeping experience, Ability to track and understand partnership investments, Ability to understand and accurately record brokerage transactions, understanding of balance sheets, profit & loss statements, Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel, Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members
Nice to Have
Experience with QuickBooks, Bill. com, Xero, and Gusto, Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/ OCBOA), Knowledge of annual tax compliance, Ability to train and manage staff, Public Accounting experience
What You'll Do.
Coordinate accounting functions and programs
Prepare financial work papers and reports
Assist with monitoring
and reconciling financial accounts and Accounts Payable
Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts
Prepare annual compliance reports: 1099s
Prepare financial statements
including a Balance Sheet
and other Ad Hoc reports
Coordinate financial statement preparation and supporting documents for annual tax preparation and quarterly extension payments
Investigate and resolve account discrepancies and issues of non-compliance
Contribute to developing new or amended accounting systems
Perform other accounting research
