Full Job Description

What's the Short Version? The Distribution Center (DC) Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of department operations including planning, organizing, and monitoring the receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping functions to ensure a smooth and consistent operation. The DC Supervisor provides support to employees and, at the discretion of DC leadership, other departments as necessary. What Will You Be Doing? Identify and coordinate daily activities to achieve desired results in productivity, teamwork, safety, quality, and job knowledge. Oversee all aspects of the distribution center to ensure the products are processed and delivered in an accurate and timely manner. Provide day-to-day direction and development to hourly staff to include coaching, counseling, career development, and corrective actions. Conduct annual performance appraisals and provide continued feedback on overall performance. Interview and hire new employees. Collaborate across departments to drive optimal productivity. Analyze business and performance trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies. Foster an environment in which diverse backgrounds are respected and valued. Respond to employee needs, including professionalism, respect, and consideration of others. Manage difficult employee situations in a professional manner. What Are We Looking For?
