Must Have
deep, hands-on experience across the full post production ecosystem, understand codecs, colour spaces, file formats, colour pipelines, storage systems, and delivery specifications, built and managed large-scale asset systems before: filing structures, naming conventions, media management workflows, edit competently across platforms and formats, worked with third-party post production vendors, methodical about data and asset management, experience actually implementing new workflows, self-motivated and thrive working autonomously, communicate clearly, don't lose your head when high-volume periods hit, looks at a broken process and immediately starts thinking about how to fix it, and then actually does

forward-thinking about emerging technology, particularly AI
What You'll Do.
Owning our asset systems end-to-end
designing and maintaining filing structures
and organisational workflows
keeping everything running when thousands of assets arrive from all corners of the globe simultaneously
Preparing projects for editors
managing hard drives and cloud data workflows
Leading a team of content administrators
setting the standard for how our global dispatch systems run
keeping the bar high on efficiency
and deadline delivery
Staying ahead of the tools: managing software subscriptions and licences
evaluating new platforms
and actively implementing ideas
Diving into AI-powered workflows for content creation and production
Jumping in and editing across platforms and formats when the project demands it
Collaborating with third-party vendors including colour graders and graphics compositors
making sure external partners have what they need and handoffs are seamless
Troubleshooting technical issues as they come up
working autonomously through high-volume periods without losing quality or composure
