High School Diploma or equivalent, 2 years experience as certified AOD Counselor, Certified as AOD Counselor by DHCS
What You'll Do.
Support Program Director and Associate Program Director
Provide direct supervision to AOD Counselors
Provide direct supervision to OMCP Mentors
Assist in providing program coverage
Supervise approximately six AOD Counseling/Peer Navigator staff
Evaluate staff performance
Provide applicable coaching and training
Track and monitor Contractor staff performance
Implement corrective measures as needed
Assess and monitor counseling staff progress
Supervise orientation and intake processes
Approve and monitor SUD relapse prevention/CBI action plan
Track all participants
and monitoring of ARMS documentation
Provide training to AOD Counseling staff
Provide training to OMCP Mentors
Coordinate and supervise OMCP Mentors
Ensure OMCP Mentors complete work experience
Provide verification of internship hours
Verify and record OMCP Mentor's monthly internship hours
Work collaboratively with CDCR/CCHCS headquarters
Work collaboratively with local institution
Work collaboratively with CDCR contracted staff
