Learn more about our Purpose and what drives us by visiting our Who We Are page. **Position Description:** The **Superintendent** leads, oversees, directs, and coordinates construction field activities and the performance of subcontractors and Clark Builders Self-Perform Operations (SPO) staff for a specific area of a large project. Ensure adherence to safety, schedule delivery, quality of work performed, and budget. _The position will initially be based out of our main office in Edmonton, Alberta, with the role later shifting to a project site located near Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta._ **Reports to:** Senior Superintendent, Field Operations Manager **Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:** * Oversee and make decisions related to project activities in compliance with approved contract documents, scheduling, logistics, quality control, field operations, and WIP and subcontractors and Clark Builders Self-Perform Operations (SPO) staffing levels, provide technical and jobsite planning guidance. * Manage and align General Requirements and General Conditions (GR/GC) within project budget. * Manage project mock-ups and oversee associated testing, review, and approval as applicable. * Ensure acquisition of required project permits and insurance, keep current for term of project, and serve as liaison with inspection agencies. * Oversee work among assigned trades to promote coordinated project operations. * Establish and maintain relationships with subcontractors’ Trade staff.
