What You'll Do.

Oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed according to design

Develop and implement comprehensive project schedules

Conduct regular site meetings with project managers

and other stakeholders to coordinate efforts and resolve any issues

Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications

Address and rectify any quality control issues promptly

Read and interpret plans and specifications

Coordinate structural inspections with the consultant team

Work closely with the Project Manager to develop and manage project budgets

Monitor and control project costs

Ensure all change orders are documented

Forecast concrete requirements and conduct concrete take-offs as necessary to ensure adequate volumes of material have been ordered

and be accountable for ordering all materials

Enforce strict adherence to safety policies and procedures

Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for site personnel along side safety supervisors

Ensure all site activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations

Work with site safety personnel to implement occupational hazards and ensure the site meets all safety standards

Provide leadership and guidance to on-site teams

Foster a collaborative and productive work environment

Address and resolve any personnel issues or conflicts promptly and effectively

Manage and coordinate shared resources with other superintendents

Maintain clear and open communication with all project stakeholders

Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management and clients

Ensure all project documentation is accurate

Effectively communicate project expectations to team members on an ongoing basis

Prepare computerized schedules and update schedule reporting complete with visual workflow diagrams
