What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in construction management with at least 5 years of experience in the construction field or any related field, Understand building plans and specs, Thorough knowledge of Corporate/Industry Safety standards, Working knowledge of CPM schedule, Working knowledge of cost report and labor production report, Thorough knowledge of corporate quality program, Thorough knowledge of subcontract language, Basic computer knowledge
Nice to Have
CSL preferred, OSHA 30 Certification preferred
What You'll Do.
Administer project safety program
Develop site-specific safety plan
Verify subcontractor insurance
Serve as OSHA competent person
Preplan operations to avoid hazards
Supervise construction effort
Provide technical assistance
Work with project team
Create Site-Specific Quality Plan
Complete onsite material verification
Manage project budget requirements
Track production quantities
Identify changes in field
Authorize field change requests
Assist in approval process
Manage project to meet schedule
Develop baseline schedule
Track progress against baseline
Communicate schedule requirements
Develop short-term plan
Coordinate daily stand up meetings
Lead weekly foreman meetings
Ensure material delivery log updated
Interface with client representatives
Participate in business development
Create Raving Fans on projects
Utilize contacts for leads
Participate in superintendent meetings
Participate in safety meetings
Participate in training sessions
Supervise assistant superintendents
Supervise project engineers
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Work with the project team to set project goals; Coordinate and lead the daily stand up and weekly foreman meetings; Interface with client representatives, A/E representatives, other contractors, and various building officials in a professional manner; Ability to work in a team environment with a primary focus on collaboration; Ability to work with and manage multiple people
