What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Previous retail experience, Experience of cash handling, Experience of financial management procedures, Interpersonal and communication skills, Customer-first attitude, Ability to communicate with tact and discretion, Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team, Good organisational skills, Ability to prioritise workload, Understanding of health and safety procedures in a retail environment
Nice to Have
Previous retail experience, preferably in fashion/clothing, Experience in managing and motivating volunteers
What You'll Do.
Run the store and ensure daily operations run efficiently
Maximise sales by maintaining high standards of display
Ensure proper stock rotation
Secure realistic pricing on donated items
Process donated goods according to set standards
Maximise Gift Aid income
Oversee display and administration of bought-in goods
Engage with the community to drive repeat custom
Manage volunteers and ensure staff follow procedures
