The Katz Center has an exciting opportunity for a **temporary, part-time** Summer Worker. The Summer Worker performs a variety of duties which involves independent judgement and discretion. The Summer Worker only works during the summer months of May and August; the Summer Worker provides additional support to the departments in order to meet goals, objectives and project deadlines. **CORE JOB FUNCTIONS** * Reviews project assignments in order to make decisions. * Identifies and resolves issues using independent judgment and discretion. * Participates in general event planning and implementation. * Collaborates with key internal stakeholders as need to assist department with meeting deadlines. * Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets. _**This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities as necessary.**_ **CORE QUALIFICATIONS** * High School Diploma or equivalent/relevant experience, certification or license * Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required _**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**_ * Learning Agility: Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and protocols, and adapt to changing priorities and work demands. * Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a team environment. * Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using office software, technology, and relevant computer applications. * Communication: Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting with
