Eligibility Requirements

Required to work up to 40 hours a week, Flexible some weekends and evenings required, Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive student information, Driver’s License to be an LU-approved driver, Occasionally required to travel to local and campus locations., Frequently required to sit for extended periods to perform deskwork or type on a keyboard., Regularly required to hear and speak to communicate orally effectively., Occasionally required to stand, walk, and climb stairs to move about the building., Handle materials, reach overhead, kneel, or stoop to conduct business., Regularly lift 30 or fewer pounds., Use of one’s personal vehicle (or LU vehicles) is required for travel in the performance of the essential functions of this position., Proof of a valid Virginia driver’s license, an acceptable DMV record, and liability insurance is required.

What You'll Do.

Provide summary and evaluation reports for events and programming

Represent the department at University events

Administration assistance and other duties as assigned

The Summer-Temp position will provide a variety of services and support to our department on a short-term basis. Your responsibilities will vary based on the area and support needed, including planning events and programming, event communications and promotions, administrative tasks, and facility and operational improvement projects.
