Summary: The Engineering Intern will support cross-functional engineering efforts across manufacturing, materials, and product development. This role provides hands-on exposure to aerospace hardware, including thermal protection systems, composites, and soft goods fabrication, while contributing to real-world projects that impact production and R&D initiatives. This is a 10-week summer internship program requiring full-time, onsite participation in Cape Canaveral, FL ## Key Responsibilities Support engineering team with design, testing, and process improvement initiatives Assist in development and documentation of manufacturing processes (work instructions, SOPs, travelers) Participate in materials evaluation and testing (thermal, mechanical, or environmental as applicable) Collaborate with production teams on root cause analysis and continuous improvement (Lean/5S) Contribute to CAD modeling, drawings, and design updates (SolidWorks or similar) Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting for engineering projects Support prototype builds, validation testing, and product qualification efforts ## Required Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science, or related field Completed at least sophomore year by Summer 2026 Basic unde
