What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in the SUD field, Clinical, verbal, and writing skills, Licenses and other required credentials: CSC-AD for Addiction Counselor CAC-AD, LGADC, LGPC, LMSW, LCADC, LCSW, and LCSW-C in Maryland
Nice to Have
Group treatment experience preferred, Five years of continuous sobriety preferred
What You'll Do.
Develop a treatment alliance with patients
Facilitate addiction treatment groups
Prepare and present addiction/recovery education
Engage in case management sessions
Promote the organizations image
Work with treatment team
Coordinate care for support services
Maintain timely and well written documentation
Obtain signatures from licensed therapist/supervisor
Provide evaluations for substance use disorders
Carry the on call phone
Support patients in crisis
Attend and be prepared for professional meetings
