Opportunity At Pulse Doctors, we are delighted to be working in partnership with an leading hospital in West Norfolk to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated and clinically excellent Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to complement a established and friendly team. This post offers a rewarding breadth of clinical work across both obstetrics and gynaecology, with real scope to develop subspecialty interests in line with departmental need and your own professional goals. This is a genuine opportunity to be part of a close-knit, high-performing team that takes pride in delivering excellent, personalised care to the women and families of West Norfolk. Key Responsibilities Obstetrics • Provide consultant-led care across the full range of obstetric conditions, including antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal services. • Lead and participate in high-risk obstetric clinics, including maternal medicine and fetal medicine, in line with departmental responsibilities. • Take a proactive role in the delivery suite as part of the on-call and resident obstetric rota. • Provide clinical leadership for the multidisciplinary obstetric team, including midwives, anaesthetists and neonatal colleagues. • Contribute to the management of obstetric emergencies, with a commitment to simulation training and skills-and-drills programmes. Gynaecology • Provide a comprehensive outpatient gynaecology service, including general gynaecology, early pregnancy, and any agreed subspecialty clinics. • Undertake elective and emergency gynaecological surgery, with competence across the core procedural repertoire expected of an NHS O&G consultant. • Participate in the gy
