What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor/ Master’s degree in electrical engineering, 5-10 years of relevant working experience as Cable engineer in HVAC & HVDC underground and subsea cable projects, feasibility/design studies, detailed engineering, site implementation, component engineering and technical support to national transmission utilities, Good level in English communication is mandatory
Nice to Have
Any additional proven capabilities in electrical software tools such as Cymcap, etc. is beneficial
What You'll Do.
Conduct studies for Cable projects (subsea cable and/or underground cable): feasibility
detailed for both HVAC and HVDC Projects primarily in Asia but also in Europe
Australia and Africa.
Support the Business Development activities by supporting proposals preparation
Clients’ meetings and providing related technical advisory.
Prepare comprehensive study reports
ranging from feasibility studies for energy developers to FEED and detailed studies.
Deliver high-quality outputs within agreed parameters
and review the work of other employees when necessary.
Conduct complex assessments
provide specialist advice/solutions and training
conduct technical presentations to internal and external clients.
Engage in technical developmental activities
including attending conferences and participating in industry presentations.

In Asia, we are a leading power sector consulting engineering company executing our regional consultancy and engineering assignments from our power sector consulting offices in Bangkok, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Hanoi, Singapore, Pune, Noida and Taipei. In total, we have multinational staff of more than 500 working in Transmission & Distribution (T&D) field around the world. In line with our increasing business, we are looking for qualified and experienced candidates for Subsea and Underground Cable Expert to join our APAC T&D team. Our T&D team assists clients in achieving compliance and efficiency by conducting studies to navigate the design, grid connection and access standards for their energy generation projects. You will become part of a global, tight-knit team of engineers engaged in diverse projects supporting multiple type of international interconnection and grid connection projects (solar, wind, hydro, etc.). Our team also provides technical assistance to Transmission Grid Operators and helps the private sector secure crucial grid investments through expert technical support. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your career and play a pivotal role in expanding and shaping the business in Asia-Pacific for a multinational company while supporting clients across Asia, but also Europe, and Africa.
