What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Ten (10) years full-time experience leading technical projects involving mechanical equipment, Eight (8) years full-time hands-on technical experience within last 10 years in the operation, maintenance, installation, test, and/or repair of PSSE incorporated in Submarine PSSE Non-Ordnance Handling systems, active secret US government clearance, US citizenship
What You'll Do.
Perform maintenance and certification of PSSE equipment
Perform maintenance on weapon cradles and ballast cans
Conduct preventative maintenance and testing of handling equipment
Perform maintenance on Missile Tube Loading/Handling Maintenance Platform
Schedule and conduct preventative maintenance for platforms
Schedule PMS and maintenance per technical manual
Perform Operational Procedures (OP's)
Maintain certification by performing maintenance and repairs
Maintain HAZMAT lockers IAW OSHA directives
Maintain a database of PSSE location and maintenance status
Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on VLS platforms
Support shipping and receiving evolutions
Support handling services for various equipment
and handling services
Support storage and inventory management
Support handling and transportation services
Perform on-load and off-load of PSSE equipment
Provide PSSE Non-Ordnance Technical Support on waterfront
Provide support to PSSE handling team
Provide SME support for handling evolutions
Perform Non-Ordnance Handling Coordination
Attend weekly CSS-6/8 pier de-confliction meeting
Coordinate Non-ordnance Handling evolutions
Submit weekly Non-ordnance Handling schedule
Submit required form to NMC requesting handling equipment
Provide assistance with transportation of hull-owned equipment

Team & Collaboration
Work with Commander, Naval Submarine Force Atlantic-COMSUBLANT; Work with Submarine Squadron Six and Eight (CSS-6/8); Work with Naval Submarine Support Facility (NSSF New London); Coordinate Non-ordnance Handling evolutions between MARMC, CSS-6/8 and Naval Munitions Command (NMC)
