What They're Looking For.
Must Have
A minimum of 8 years full-time, hands-on design, installation, test, and repair of mechanical, electrical, electronic and mechanical systems/equipment., A minimum of 6 years full-time hands-on technical experience in the operation, maintenance, installation, test, and/or repair of PSSE incorporated in Submarine PSSE Non-Ordnance Handling systems., Must have an active secret US government clearance., US citizenship is required to maintain a secret clearance.
What You'll Do.
Perform maintenance and certification of PSSE equipment
Perform maintenance on Missile Tube Loading/Handling Maintenance Platforms
Conduct preventative maintenance and testing of Weight Handling Equipment
Perform maintenance on Missile Tube Loading/Handling Maintenance Platform
Schedule and conduct preventative maintenance for platforms
Schedule PMS and maintenance per technical manual
Perform Operational Procedures (OPs)
Maintain certification by performing maintenance
Maintain HAZMAT lockers IAW OSHA directives
Maintain a database of PSSE location
Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on VLS and VPT Platforms
Support handling services for AURVS/AURES
and handling services for Mk 101 & Mk 112
Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on Ballast Cans and AURBb's
Support handling and transportation services for TMDs
Perform on-load and off-load of PSSE equipment
Provide PSSE Non-Ordnance Technical Support on waterfront
Provide Non-Ordnance Handling Coordination
Attend weekly CSS-6/8 pier de-confliction meeting
Coordinate Non-ordnance Handling evolutions
Submit weekly Non-ordnance Handling schedule
Submit required form to NMC requesting handling equipment
Provide assistance with transportation of hull-owned equipment
