What You'll Do.
Support operational functions of Student Code of Conduct
Ensure disciplinary policies are followed
Assist with school-based behavior modification systems
Aid in morning admission
Aid in afternoon dismissal
Aid during lunch periods
Promote and maintain positive culture
Coordinate efforts of team members
Supervise students on campus
Instruct students in appropriate behavior
Facilitate systematic processes for student conduct
Facilitate systematic processes for social behavior
Facilitate conferences with stakeholders
Research alternative means for student success

Ensure accuracy of disciplinary records

Established in 1998 with 97 students, CCCS has steadily increased to more than 4,000 students in grades K-8 across 12 state-of-the-art buildings on four campuses. The school is a true community success story that has transformed the lives of thousands of students and their families, while breathing life back into a city that was once one of Philadelphia’s most vibrant manufacturing suburbs. Job Summary: The Student Support Service employee supports the day-to-day operational functions of the Student Code of Conduct, ensures disciplinary policies are followed, assists with school-based behavior modification systems and initiatives, and aids in morning admission, afternoon dismissal, and lunch periods for the school. Essential Functions: Works in conjunction with the Dean of Students to promote and maintain a positive culture and climate in the specified school Coordinates the efforts of all relevant team members in the school Receives referrals and confers with students, parents, and teachers to help meet the needs of struggling students Supervises students on campus before and after school; monitors students during lunch Instructs students in appropriate behavior Facilitates and maintains systematic processes and procedures for student conduct and social behavior Facilitates conferences with stakeholders including but not limited to the following; parents, staff (regarding student progress), outside agencies, and students Researches and presents alternative means, new ideas, and different approaches to aid in achieving student success Possesses fluent knowledge of the school’s behavioral database system and ensures the accuracy of disciplinary records Maintains accurate records including all school-based behavior modification systems Assists teachers to better understand and work more effectively with students having school-related concerns including but not limited to; academic, behavioral, social, and emotional Assists with facilitating admission and dismissal pro
