Full Job Description

**Position Overview:** The School of Data Science at the University of Virginia seeks qualified student workers to assist with IT operations and support services. This role provides hands-on exposure to enterprise systems, endpoint management, and cybersecurity practices. **Core Responsibilities:** * Maintain and update inventory records for Windows and macOS devices * Assist in migration of devices to Microsoft Intune and Jamf * Provide Tier 1 technical support and troubleshoot issues * Maintain and track loaner laptop devices * Provide basic AV support and training of our spaces * Monitor and assist with remediation of security vulnerabilities **Preferred Qualifications:** * Coursework or experience in IT or related field * Familiarity with Intune, Jamf, or similar tools **Compensation:** $17/hr. **Minimum Qualifications:** Resume and Cover Letter required. Currently enrolled University of Virginia student. Basic knowledge of computer systems. Strong communication and organizational skills. **Physical Demands:** This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers.
