Full Job Description
# **Student HR Coordinator** The Student HR Coordinator is a member of a dynamic HR team supporting six nonprofits that are each focused on creating solutions and generating resources to extend the reach of Arizona State University (ASU) and advance its charter. This role will provide administrative support to the HR department, primarily focusing on onboarding activities, HRIS administration, and will support various HR projects as needed. The position will require approximately 20-25 hours per week, with additional availability during school breaks. **What you’ll do:** * Assists the Talent Manager with recruitment activities such as job postings, application review, interview scheduling, and coordination * Secures the integrity and confidentiality of HR data by maintaining employee and organizational information, files, and records effectively * Assists the HR team with various administrative processes that occur within Workday * Supports New Employee Orientation (NEO) by processing new hire tasks assigned by the HR Representative and Talent Manager, including but not limited to processing new hires in Workday, completing I-9 verifications, and securing sun cards for new employees * Maintains inventory for new hire bag materials and orders additional supplies as needed * Responsible for sending out employee communications, providing administrative support, and ad-hoc reporting for the HR department as needed * Assist with Inclusive Excellence data analysis for internal reporting and dashboards * Support with the creation of Inclusive Excellence newsletters and other communications * Assist with all aspects of event planning for Employee Resource Groups and support ERGs where necessary * Participates in various HR projects and initiatives as assigned * Other duties as assigned **What you 'll need:** * Basic knowledge of various Human Resources functions and procedures * Ability to demonstrate a high level of professionalism, reliability, adaptability, integrity, di
