Our student and new graduate programs offer a chance to explore Sun Life from the inside. You’ll make a difference in the lives of our customers and communities, while building the skills and experience that allow you to grow in a meaningful and rewarding way. **Job Description:** ## **_Your role_** As a member of the Mobile and Front End Chapter, you will have opportunities to learn from experienced developers. You will work as part of a cross functional agile project team for client facing web applications. You will be part of a team that values communication, collaboration, transparency, and integrity. ** _What you will do_** As a**Student, Front End Developer** , you will be joining one of our agile teams where you will: * Work on new features or improvements to existing web pages (mostly React Single Page Applications) * Build unit tests to validate your work * Collaborate with scrum masters, back end developers, business system analysts, user experience and testing specialists to deliver high quality solutions. * Be involved in scrum ceremonies to plan, estimate, design, develop and test features * Gain hands-on experience with React.js, JavaScript/ES6, HTML, CSS/SCSS, Webpack, XML/JSON and Bootstrap * Learn and apply Web accessibility guidelines and work with web accessibility tools and assistive technologies** _Your background and skills_** Even if you don’t have all competencies and experiences below, we would like to hear from you! We recognize that skills can be transferrable and encourage employee growth within your role.
