Industry & Context.
Travel between assigned facilities and various locations within the community, Travel to regional, Business Unit and Corporate meetings may be required, May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases/materials, Intern cannot work under the supervision of a family member, Intern cannot care for a patient who is a family member
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
enrolled in a Dietetic Internship or a university-based Coordinated Program in Dietetics accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

What You'll Do.
Support FMCNA's mission
Adhere to FMCNA Compliance Program
Function as part of the dialysis health care team
Provide medical nutrition therapy
Review Renal Nutrition Basics
Review typical workflow for Renal Dietitian
Conduct a nutrition interview
Calculate a diet prescription recommendation
Provide nutrition counseling
Collect data for assessments
Assist in development of nutrition plan
Review monthly nutrition data
Practice writing monthly nutrition progress notes
Provide input to nutrition plan
Create nutrition related projects
Attend Quality Assessment meetings
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Functions as part of the dialysis health care team; Attend Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement and /or other interdisciplinary team meetings with the registered dietitian, and participate as appropriate
Communication Scope
