Minimum 2 years of experience in Lending, M&A, or Investment Banking, Demonstrated exposure to Mining, Oil & Gas, or broader commodities sectors, Solid understanding of financial analysis, Financial statements analysis, Basic valuation techniques knowledge, Credit risk assessment knowledge, Analytical skills, Attention to detail, Foundational knowledge of debt structuring, Counterparty risk knowledge, Demonstrated ability to build and stress-test financial models, DCF analysis, Debt capacity analysis, High numeracy, Analytical ability, Fluency in Spanish
Nice to Have

Structuring of structured commodity finance
Syndication of structured commodity finance
Documentation of structured commodity finance
Risk participation in structured commodity finance
Estimation of working capital requirements
Ensuring adequate financing structures are in place
Perform proactive business development by assisting the Commercial Team in business negotiations
Provide timely analysis on clients and structure financial proposals
Install value in transactions that address customer needs and differentiate the company from competitors
while minimizing risk exposure
Distribute risk within the banking and insurance markets on applicable deals

Full Job Description
**Main Purpose** Handle and provide assistance on all aspects of structured commodity finance, including origination, structuring, syndication, documentation and risk participation, across the Latin American portfolio. The role also supports the estimation of working capital requirements and ensures adequate financing structures are in place to meet regional needs. **Key Responsibilities** * Perform proactive business development by assisting the Commercial Team in business negotiations. * Provide timely analysis on clients and structure financial proposals. * Install value in transactions that address customer needs and differentiate the company from competitors, while minimizing risk exposure. * Distribute risk within the banking and insurance markets on applicable deals. * Analyze deals, identifying and mitigating all risks relating to counterparties: credit, operational, political, and legal. * Provide recommendations to management based on deal analysis. * Manage complete due diligence, legal documentation, tax implications, and appraisals, among others. * Monitor the overall counterparty risk (performance and payment) position across the Latin American portfolio. * Ensure timely recovery of disbursed loans and proactively manage non-current credits. * Generate periodic reports on exposure for senior management. * Assist in estimating the working capital requirements of the company and its divisions in the region and ensure adequate financing structures and/or facilities are in place. * Negotiate with external counterparties: clients, banks, funds, and the insurance market. **Required Qualifications** * Minimum 2 years of experience in Lending, M&A, or Investment Banking, with demonstrated exposure to Mining, Oil & Gas, or broader commodities sectors. * Solid understanding of financial analysis, including financial statements, basic valuation techniques, and credit risk assessment, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. * Foundational knowledge
