What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Engineering Degree in Mechanical/System Engineering or related discipline, 2 to 10 years in Mechanical design or System Integration, English: Negotiation level, CATIA V5 advanced skills, Means of manufacturing 's knowledge, Structure pre-sizing basic knowledges, Tolerancing knowledges (ISO standard), Leadership and good communication and listening skills, Curiosity, and problem solving oriented mindset, Autonomy and team spirit, Stakeholders management skills
Nice to Have
Aeronautics context and certification framework (CS-25) knowledge, 3Dx experience
What You'll Do.
Design Nacelle and Pylon Airframe products
Propulsion system physical integration
Lead the design Solution
Ensure Co-design with Manufacturing approach
Integrate Innovative solutions
Integrate multidisciplinary requirements
CAD modeling from Space Allocation Mockup (SAM) to Geometrical Reference Mock-up (GRM)
and cost-effective electrical and mechanical system installation solutions
Lead the activity related to the implementation of these solutions on the aircraft
Contribute to the identification
and maturation of new system installation "techno bricks"
Support Technology Leaders in preparing and contributing to design studies and Technology Readiness Level (TRL) reviews
Lead and resolve complex system topics
Coordinate with and follow-up the engine or nacelle manufacturers activities
Responsible for the powerplant Interface Control Documents (ICD)
Digital Mockup (DMU) integration and FAL installation drawings
Manage the update and configuration in accordance with modifications of powerplant components
Performing installation/feasibility studies
Supporting production by assessing the reported non conformances
Addressing MAP queries
Ensuring a close link with FAL by analyzing non-conformities
Contributing to FAL issues resolution
Proposing & leading improvements projects
Supporting Airlines customers by handling daily queries
Validating customer documentation (AMM
Managing Airworthiness issues and In service problems
Establish the risk assessment
Provide all needed technical data to support the event closure
Leading projects in a continuous improvement approach
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Co-design with Manufacturing approach; Coordinate with and follow-up the engine or nacelle manufacturers activities; Ensure coordination of all stakeholders, including plant production, in-service support, project teams, R &T, and Chief Engineering; Ensuring a close link with FAL; Performed in a Multi-Functional Team approach
