Able to work different shifts (day and/or night) including weekends and Holidays., An essential function of this position requires exertion of up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects, It also requires constant or frequent climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling and reaching., Successful candidate must be able to follow verbal communications, be able to read and comprehend written directions on labels, machinery and in manuals, etc., must be able to interpret written directives, policies, guidelines and memos.
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Two (2) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position, A combination of related education, formalized apprenticeship program, and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to two (2) years, Possession of a current valid State of Colorado Driver's license
Nice to Have
Five + years experience with construction and maintenance in a campus environment to include plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, and H. V. A. C. maintenance., Experience performing duties in an academic k-12 or higher education setting., Experience with safety rules and regulations.
What You'll Do.
Provides service calls and repairs at a university campus
Install repair or renovate structures
Provide same day service and repair work
or reconstructing offices dormitories
Perform routine entry level maintenance on plumbing systems
Perform routine entry level maintenance on air handler units
Perform routine entry level maintenance repairing minor electrical problems
