What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field, 10 years or more of design, design-build or alternative project delivery experience on bridge highway infrastructure, Steel and concrete bridge design experience is essential, Experience with bridge design for roadway systems is essential
What You'll Do.
Assure that the bridges are designed in accordance with approved Federal
and local agency requirements as well as AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications
Deliverables may include structural designs for single span
pre-stressed concrete
Provide structural specifications
quantity calculations
and detailed engineering analyses.
Complete a variety of assignments such as drawings
and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes.
Prepare and issue specifications
and other construction documents.
Provide technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters
and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.
Mentor and guide junior engineers and interns
fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
May be required to provide the seal and signature of the professional engineer
ensuring compliance with all applicable codes

This is an exciting opportunity to work on various bridge engineering and design projects, ranging from mid to large design and design-build projects.
