Must Have
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences), 3+ years’ experience with structural design principles for repair and maintenance (e. g. , fatigue, damage tolerance, corrosion, stress analysis, statics, materials strength, material characteristics, repair techniques), 3+ years’ experience with coordinating across multiple disciplines to develop repair data
Nice to Have
5+ years’ experience with structural design principles for repair and maintenance (e. g. , fatigue, damage tolerance, corrosion, stress analysis, statics, materials strength, material characteristics, repair techniques) and with coordinating across multiple disciplines to develop repair data., Experience with engineering tools such as CATIA, ENVOVIA, and/or PDM, Adobe FrameMaker, Experience working with FAA continued airworthiness requirements, Experience working with FAA or Regulatory Administration regulations, Experience in Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations and environment

Research and review Stress Engineering’s strength check notes and other engineering data to formulate allowable damage limits and repair procedures in the SRM
Assist in developing SRM procedures for various components throughout the airframe
Coordinate with various engineering groups and E-UMs to provide FAA approved structural repairs to meet regulatory/customer requirements and schedules
Assist in providing updates and necessary improvements to the SRM to improve customer satisfaction

Structural Repair Engineer (Associate or Experienced) (Structural Design) **Company:** The Boeing Company The **Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA)** is seeking a **Structural Repair Engineer (Associate or Experienced)** to join their team in **Seal Beach, CA**. As a Structural Repair Engineer, you will provide support in the development of the Structural Repair Manual (SRM).
