What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) in structural mechanical design and analysis, preferably within the energy or heavy industrial sector., understanding of structural mechanics, material science, and relevant design codes and standards., Experience with CAD software (e.g. PTC Creo, TEKLA, STAAD. Pro, AutoCAD)., Ability to perform complex engineering calculations and prepare detailed technical reports., Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills., communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment., Fluency in English and Italian (both written and spoken) is required.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with project management principles is an advantage.

What You'll Do.

Perform structural and mechanical design and analysis of components

and structures using relevant software

Develop and review technical specifications

and other engineering documentation

and seismic analyses to ensure structural integrity and performance

Evaluate and select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for structural components

Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes

Provide technical support during fabrication

and commissioning phases

Investigate and troubleshoot structural or mechanical issues

proposing effective solutions

Stay updated with the latest advancements in structural and mechanical engineering technologies and methodologies

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams (electrical, civil, manufacturing) to integrate mechanical designs into overall project solutions.; Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and problem-solving activities.; work effectively in a team environment.

Communication Scope

communication and interpersonal skills; Fluency in English and Italian (both written and spoken) is required.
