5+ years of work experience in the capacity of structural inspector within the region, Knowledge of public works contracts, Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications, Effective math skills, Knowledge of engineering calculations, Knowledge of basic computer applications, Microsoft Office, Project Management Software, internet search engines, Ability to understand and comply with project requirements, Effective diary and reporting skills, Knowledge of English grammar and composition, Understanding of scheduling, Ability to review progress pay estimates, Ability to review extra work bills, Ability to recognize hazardous work conditions, Effective time management skills, Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, Effective written and verbal communication skills, Ability to work cohesively in a team, Ability to work in a dynamic work environment, Ability to use good judgement, Ability to work with others

In this role you will get to supervise and inspect the structural works related to the Project. **What You 'll Be Doing:** * Conducts inspections to determine if work has been done in accordance with contract specifications. * Performs inspection activities which may include the following: * Demolition of various structural elements, activities related to the construction of structures such as reservoirs, lifting stations landscaping structure, lagoons, swimming pools, substations, retaining walls, tunnels, bridges etc. * Maintains office files related to the project, quantity calculations, and writes daily diaries. * Prepares daily reports and other documentation, as required by the contract. * Verifies only approved materials are incorporated in the work. * Performs labor compliance interviews and maintains as-built plans. * Recognizes potential conflicts, issues, and problems; identifies possible solutions and advises supervisor. * Collects, reviews, and files Certificate of Compliance, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), inspection tags, and other information relevant to the materials used. * Reports on installed quantities to verify applications for payment and change order work. * Coordinates work of subconsultants for surveying and material testing. * Assists with the development of job safety practices and reports. * Supports the creation of quality control procedures and reports. * Responds to the call backs in case of emergency at the project site. * Doc
