Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student in a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (e. g. , Civil, Structural) at an accredited institution in Qatar, Fundamental understanding of core engineering principles relevant to your discipline, Basic proficiency in CAD software (e. g. , AutoCAD similar) for 2D drafting and drawing updates, Interest in structural design work, Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings (plans, sections, and details), attention to detail, willingness to follow standards and procedures, good written and verbal communication skills in English, Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, eagerness to learn
Nice to Have
Exposure to discipline-specific software (e. g. , Midas Civil, SAP2000, STAAD, ETABS, Revit, or similar) through coursework or projects, Familiarity with basic design workflows and documentation practices from academic or prior internship experience, Experience using Adobe Acrobat for viewing and marking up drawings and documents, Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, proactive attitude, interest in a career in engineering and consulting
What You'll Do.
Support Engineers and Designers in delivering coordinated designs and/or site supervision activities on multidisciplinary projects
Assisting Engineers with design layouts
and engineering drawings
Helping prepare engineering deliverables
and simple reports under supervision
Using CAD and other engineering software (as directed) to assist in preparing design documents and figures
and reviewing project data such as surveys
and technical specifications
Updating drawings and documents based on redlines and markups from senior staff
Supporting coordination between different disciplines by updating design and/or site information and tracking changes
Assisting with technical documentation
and meeting materials
and following up on action items
Learning and applying relevant standards
and Parsons procedures as guided by senior staff

In this role, you will support Engineers and Designers in delivering coordinated designs and/or site supervision activities on multidisciplinary projects, gaining exposure to real-world engineering workflows, tools, standards, and construction practices. **What You’ll Be Doing** * Assisting Engineers with design layouts, basic calculations, and engineering drawings. * Helping prepare engineering deliverables, including plans, sections, diagrams, and simple reports under supervision. * Using CAD and other engineering software (as directed) to assist in preparing design documents and figures. * Collecting, organizing, and reviewing project data such as surveys, as-built records, site photos, vendor information, and technical specifications. * Updating drawings and documents based on redlines and markups from senior staff. * Supporting coordination between different disciplines by updating design and/or site information and tracking changes. * Assisting with technical documentation, presentations, and meeting materials, and following up on action items. * Learning and applying relevant standards, codes, and Parsons procedures as guided by senior staff. **What Required Skills You’ll Bring** * Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student in a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (e.g., Civil, Structural) at an accredited institution in Qatar. * Fundamental understanding of core engineering principles
