Must Have
Bachelor degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Minimum 15 years experience in construction supervision or operation and maintenance of bridges in Marine Environment, Inspection experience in marine structures Steel Sheet Piles, Steel Casing, Piles, Piers structures, steel, timber and concrete pile structures, floating structures and waterfront facilities, Review and justify material submissions, analyze laboratory and technical reports, perform acceptance sampling and testing, Ensure compliance with project specifications through quality measures, Adequate knowledge in European Code and American Codes, Be fully computer literate, proficient in using technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, Utilize project-specific engineering and construction software effectively, Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
What You'll Do.
Assist in supervising construction
Coordinate activities with engineers
Assist in reviewing shop drawings
Prepare replies for review
Coordinate with design engineers
Maintain daily diary and reports
Coordinate with contractor engineers
Attend project coordination meetings
Direct inspectors and surveyors
Chair special meetings
Ensure accuracy of records
Ensure safety goals achieved
Oversee safety procedures implementation
Prepare progress reports
Participate in health and safety issues
Provide on-site direction
Issue site instructions
Check and measure performed work
Record progress vs programmed work
Ensure correctness of as-built drawings
Take charge of handing over structural works
Assist contractor to obtain clearance

Coordinate his direct activities with the other engineers; Coordinate with Project design engineers; Coordinate with the contractor engineers; Attend project coordination meetings; liaise with project team members; liaise with clients; liaise with sub-consultants; liaise with contractors; liaise with regulatory agencies; liaise with environmental approval agencies; Convene and chair special meetings with service authorities; Convene and chair special meetings with the contractor; Convene and chair special meetings with subcontractors; Convene and chair special meetings with other parties
