Full Job Description
We are hiring a Structural Engineer / Project Lead to support the continued growth of our Dallas office. This role is ideal for an engineer ready to step into a leadership track, taking ownership of projects, working directly with clients, and contributing to high-quality design from concept through construction. Our portfolio includes multifamily, mixed-use, commercial, and hospitality developments, and you’ll work closely with architects, developers, and firm leadership in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your input directly impacts project outcomes. **What You'll Own** * Lead structural projects from initial design through construction administration * Perform and oversee structural analysis, calculations, and design development * Produce and review construction documents to ensure accuracy and quality * Coordinate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams * Serve as a client-facing lead throughout project execution * Mentor junior engineers (EITs) and support team development * Contribute to project standards and overall office growth **Requirements** * 5–6+ years of structural engineering experience * Proven ability to lead or manage projects * Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering (Civil accepted with strong structural focus) * PE license preferred (or actively pursuing) * Proficiency in structural design software, AutoCAD, and Revit * Strong communication and client-facing skills * Experience in commercial, multifamily, or large-scale residential projects preferred * Wood design experience is a plus * Familiarity with the Texas market is a plus * Must be a U.S. citizen **Benefits** * Base Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 * Performance-based bonus * Medical, dental, and vision insurance * Retirement savings plan * Clear path for career advancement * Onsite-first environment with future hybrid flexibility
