### **Job Description** ## **Overview** If you are looking for an employer that has large-scale international engineering projects to offer. The Structural Building Team is currently looking for a Structural Engineer (Intermediate to Senior) to support the continued growth of our Winnipeg office team. ## **Your role** * Actively participate in the design and preparation of plans and specifications (steel, concrete, wood, masonry, etc.). * Participate in projects across Canada, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and supporting national project delivery. * Conduct studies, surveys, technical reports, and structural inspections. * Supervise the execution of structural work during the construction phase and provide construction support. * Ensure that engineering work is produced in accordance with industry quality standards and complies with the National Building Code and applicable Provincial building codes. * Coordinate projects impacting structural design with other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, architecture, process, etc.). * Maintain and develop strong client and stakeholder relationships. * Develop and mentor junior staff through coaching, technical guidance, and ongoing performance feedback. * Contribute to proposal development, including scope definition, technical input, and working closely with project managers and business development teams. ## **About you** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. * Master's degree in Structural Engineering is an asset. * Registered as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba. * 5-10 years of previous related experience in a similar role is preferred. * Strong experience with structural design software (ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, etc.). * Excellent organizational, communication, and problem
