WPI is a cold formed steel contractor with its own in-house engineering and design department. You will be collaborating directly with the field and operations personnel who are building the designs you create. This department emphasizes a well-rounded work/like balance. Job Description The primary responsibility will be preparing construction drawings for a wide variety of projects involving cold formed steel. Major WPI projects include exterior curtain walls, interior partitions and ceiling, prefabricated wall panels, structural ceilings, and data center containment. Our major industries are healthcare, higher education, mission critical data centers, and other commercial construction. This is a unique role in that you will be working directly with the project foremen, superintendents, and project managers who are also your co-workers. This position bridges the gap between engineering and construction. If you are interested in working more on the construction side of the industry, this position may be right for you.
