What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Professional Engineer (PE) license, Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, six years of relevant full-time experience in structural engineering design, Proficiency in structural analysis software, Solid understanding of structural engineering principles, mechanics, and materials, Knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction practices, Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, analytical and problem-solving skills, Effective written and verbal communication skills, Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have
Structural Master’s degree
What You'll Do.
Perform structural analysis and design
Prepare and review structural calculations
Develop and verify complex structural calculations
Prepare technical reports
Create and update structural drawings
Conduct site assessments
Assess existing conditions
Observe on-going construction
Support project coordination
Ensure regulatory compliance
Coordinate with permitting authorities
Engage in quality control processes
Participate in quality control reviews
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Collaborate in design development; Work with senior engineers; Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams; Work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers; Mentor and guide junior engineers; Foster a collaborative and educational work environment
