What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering, 5-8 years of experience in design, project management, or construction within natural gas power, data center, or heavy industrial projects, understanding of civil and structural design principles, understanding of diligence processes, understanding of EPC construction standards, Experience with foundation design for vibrating equipment, Experience with structural steel, Experience with reinforced concrete, Experience with geotechnical coordination
Nice to Have

Intersect develops, constructs, and operates the most ambitious power and data center infrastructure in the country by co-locating industrial demand with dedicated gas and renewable power generation. Intersect was acquired by Google in March 2026 and operates as an independent subsidiary. We are developing and constructing multiple gigawatts of energy and data center projects in the U.S., enabling more data center and generation capacity to come online faster. About This Role As a Structural / Civil Engineer on Intersect’s Natural Gas Power Plant (NGPP) Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of impactful projects.
