Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences), 5+ years of experience in the structures engineering industry, 3+ years of experience performing structural analysis on metallic structures, 3+ years of experience performing structural analysis on composite material systems, 2+ years of engineering experience on primary aircraft structures, Ability to apply classical hand analysis methods, Ability to perform FEA and understand/utilize/validate results, Experience collaborating with production/manufacturing technician team members
Nice to Have
9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in structures engineering, 7+ years of experience performing structural analysis on metallic structures, 5+ years of experience performing structural analysis on composite material systems, 5+ years of engineering experience on primary aircraft structures, Lead Engineer experience advising, assisting, and checking classical hand analysis, Lead Engineer experience advising, assisting, and checking FE Models and Analysis results, Prior experience working as a Stress Liaison Engineer in a production environment
