BPSS and SC required, Ability to travel, Undertake work packages supporting major UK and international Nuclear Clients., Meet certain residency criteria, Attain a minimum level of UK security clearance
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Excellent technical fundamentals, Hands-on experience of computer based modelling codes such as Abaqus, Ansys, Nastran, CFD etc., Appreciation of code assessments in a safety related industry, for example ASME, RCC-M, KTA or comparable codes from other sectors., Engineering Degree (or equivalent), Full UK driving license and ability to travel within the UK.
Nice to Have
Previous experience in similar roles in the nuclear or fusion industry., Hands-on experience of 3D modelling in CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor, Catia or SolidWorks., Experience of fluid-modelling such as CFD, or dynamic modelling such as LS-Dyna or Radioss., Working towards Chartered Engineer status.
