BPSS and SC required, Ability to travel, Undertake work packages supporting major UK and international Nuclear Clients, Meet certain residency criteria, Attain minimum level of UK security clearance
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Excellent technical fundamentals, Aptitude for calculations, Appreciation of structures, Appreciation of mechanics, Appreciation of fluids, Ability to ‘sense-check’ analysis results, Hands-on experience of computer based modelling codes, Abaqus, Ansys, Nastran, CFD, Appreciation of code assessments in a safety related industry, ASME, RCC-M, KTA, Full UK driving license, Ability to travel within the UK
Nice to Have
Previous experience in similar roles in the nuclear or fusion industry, Hands-on experience of 3D modelling in CAD software, Autodesk Inventor, Catia, SolidWorks, Experience of fluid-modelling, Dynamic modelling, LS-Dyna, Radioss, Working towards Chartered Engineer status
