Full Job Description
Salary Range: $33,823.14 - $63,789.96Work involves performing tasks of a journeyman level in the installation, repair and maintenance of storm inlets and french drains, sidewalks, concrete curbs/gutters, driveway approaches, roadways, trees, guardrailing, as well as, all other facilities in the public right-of-way or on other publicly owned property. Field work may be carried out without immediate supervision and persons in the classification may supervise a small group of utilitymen, laborers and other personnel in the field. _**DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS OF WORK**_ This is skilled work involving, but not limited to the installation, repair and maintenance of public right-of-way property and facilities. Work involves performing tasks of a journeyman level in the installation, repair and maintenance of storm inlets and french drains, sidewalks, concrete curbs/gutters, driveway approaches, roadways, trees, guard railing, as well as all other facilities in the public right-of-way or on other publicly owned property. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Director of Streets or his designee.
