Lead root-cause analysis when results are off track
Ability to travel up to 25%, depending on business priorities and time of year, For candidates outside of London, ON, travel can go up to 35%
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5 + years of relevant experience in commercial strategy, business development, sales-led growth, corporate strategy, product management, and/or marketing within a B2B environment, Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, Demonstrated experience shaping strategy and owning execution—including opening new markets/accounts, building business cases, prioritizing growth initiatives, and following through to results, with a capability to translate quantitative and qualitative insights into clear recommendations and scenarios for decision- making, Proven ability to work cross-functionally and lead through influence across Sales, Product, Operations, and other stakeholders, Ability to travel up to 25%, depending on business priorities and time of year, For candidates outside of London, ON, travel can go up to 35%
Nice to Have
MBA or other advanced business degree, Industry experience in municipal and/or industrial water treatment solutions and technologies, Experience collaborating with global teams across multiple time zones and geographic regions
What You'll Do.
Owning the commercial strategy and annual planning cycle

Partnering with Sales to identify growth opportunities
develop execution plans

and lead root-cause analysis when results are off track
Developing a prioritized market perspective (size
and macro trends) to guide investment and resource allocation
Translating customer needs
and purchase drivers into clear market requirements and positioning that enable Trojan to win
Assessing competitors
and industry dynamics using primary and secondary research (e.g.
expert interviews) to inform decisions and investments
Partnering with Product Management and Innovation to shape the 5-year product roadmap and lead commercialization planning and go-to-market strategy
Creating and delivering executive-ready materials and recommendations that enable alignment and decision-making across segment and corporate leadership
Establishing operating cadence
and decision forums to monitor progress
and continuously improving commercial effectiveness
