Must Have
Undergraduate degree, Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, 5+ years of Strategic Sourcing experience (RFP, RFI, RFQ), 5+ years of experience with pricing/contract negotiation, Intermediate-to-advanced Microsoft Excel, intermediate PowerPoint and Word
Nice to Have
SCMP or other Supply Chain/Purchasing certification preferred, Experience sourcing Manufacturing and IT equipment an asset

**Location:** Richmond, British Columbia or Burlington, Ontario **Work Arrangement:** 6 month contract working hybrid in office Monday - Thursday **Position Summary:** Reporting to the Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager (located in Richmond, BC, Canada), the Strategic Sourcing Manager executes end-to-end purchasing activities for indirect goods and services including strategic sourcing, analysis, negotiations, and contract management. The position will also support capital equipment (Capex) procurement, requiring comfort with technical specifications and high-value vendor negotiations. The position will manage the vendors in North America. **Key Responsibilities:** * Collaborate with internal business units to identify needs and objectives to recommend suppliers capable of providing goods and services that meet requirements. This includes vetting requirements to ensure that they can be operationalized. * Support capital expenditure (Capex) sourcing activities including technical RFQs, equipment vendor negotiations, and coordination with engineering and operations stakeholders. * Invite, assess, and award/recommend supplier tenders, bids, quotations, and proposals.
