What You'll Achieve.
support the company’s long-term strategy and ambitious growth; allocate resources to the highest-impact opportunities while protecting sustainable unit economics; scale core offerings and bring new products to market; lead revenue forecasting and performance management across the product portfolio; shape ChatGPT Business; set strategy, evaluate growth bets, guide pricing and packaging decisions; build the financial rigor that allows the business to scale; define the growth model for a frontier AI product; help shape product strategy, growth priorities, pricing decisions, and investment tradeoffs; Own the forecast for ChatGPT Business self-serve; help the team move faster; inform where OpenAI should invest and how the business model should evolve; connect business performance, product strategy, key risks, and strategic recommendations

What They're Looking For.
Must Have
8+ years of experience in investment banking, consulting, strategic finance, product finance, growth finance, or buy-side investing, operating experience at a fast-paced, scaling technology company, Experience supporting product teams on growth, pricing, packaging, monetization, or product strategy decisions, Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills, building product P&Ls, operating models, cohort and funnel analyses, pricing models, unit economics that connect strategy to growth decisions, business judgment and product instincts, The ability to translate complex product, usage, customer, and financial data into clear recommendations for Product teams and senior leadership, High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, comfort making decisions when data is imperfect and the business is evolving, A hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality, comfort operating in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment, Experience with SQL, comfort working directly with product analytics datasets
Nice to Have
experience ideally in product-led growth, growth-stage SaaS, consumer/subscription products, or consumption-based business models, Familiarity with product-led growth, growth experimentation, pricing and packaging, consumption-based pricing, or usage-based business models, curiosity about how AI products change those playbooks, Enthusiasm for AI deployment, OpenAI’s mission, and the opportunity to shape how businesses adopt frontier AI
