Strategic Communications Technical Writer **The Opportunity** : Write and edit technical documentation, user manuals, and sales and training literature. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, and mentor or supervise employees in both company and technical competencies. **You Have:** * Experience utilizing the DoD Issuance Style Guide or AP Style * Experience working with the front office of senior staff * Experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Excel, and SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat * Experience with technical writing to support strategic communications specialists, graphic designers, and policy analysts * Experience with developing communication plans to deliver high quality visual presentations, messaging, and print products * Knowledge of the proper handling, marking, and tracking of classified material * Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including gathering technical information and program data for the development of accurate and high-quality documentation, paying strict attention to detail, and successfully adhering to deadlines * Top Secret clearance * Bachelor's degree **Nice If You Have:** * Experience using AI tools to assist in the writing of technical documentation * Knowledge of DoD 5000 series instructions * Master's degree * Microsoft Office Specialist: Word Expert Certification **Clearance:** Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required. **Compensation** At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being.
