What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of experience in a strategic communications or executive communications role, 5+ years of experience creating polished deliverables such as talking points, briefings, speeches, memos, background papers, and event preparation materials, Experience supporting senior leadership with in-person engagements at conferences, industry events, and strategic meetings, Experience designing and implementing enterprise-level communication strategies, working directly with senior leaders, and supporting executive-level engagement, Knowledge of Microsoft 365 products, Ability to develop and maintain a messaging matrix to align organizational communications, Ability to work independently, proactively solve problems, and consistently deliver high-quality products in an adaptable and dynamic environment, Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, Secret clearance, Bachelor's degree
Nice to Have
Experience supporting senior leaders in the Department of Defense or other government agencies, Knowledge of emerging communication technologies and the application of AI tools to enhance strategic communications, Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, Master's degree
