We’re looking for friendly, motivated people who enjoy helping people and being part of a team — this posting represents a current opportunity at Giant Tiger. **Job Title** Store Operations Associate (Full-Time) **About This Role:** **What You’ll Be Doing:** • Responsible for balancing the cash registers; • Preparing bank deposits and entering information for daily cash report; • Training associates on SKU / pricing related issues, printing signs and labels and operating the RF unit; • Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of perpetual inventory and product pricing.; • Prepare and participate in cycle counts; • Following the best practices when receiving and processing merchandise; • Ensuring health and safety policies and guidelines are followed; • Ensuring Loss prevention best practices are followed. **What You’ll Bring:** • Effective analytical and organizational skills; • Strong attention to detail; • Previous experience in a retail environment. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills (customers, vendors, other third party); • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; • Ability to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment; **When You’ll Work:** A typical full-time schedule will consist of day shifts, two evenings per week, and alternating weekends with a schedule of 35-40 hours weekly.
